Dynaliner is the most effective automotive thermal insulator available. It is a soft , self adhesive, closed cell rubber that resists oil and water. Dynaliner does not promote rust or mildew like most under carpet padding. It provides acoustic absorption and thermal insulation.
A high efficiency, general purpose thermo- acoustic foam available in 1/8", 1/4" and 1/2" thicknesses, use the thickest one that your space will allow.
