RimPro Kit - 4 Silver Tracks with your choice of 12 Coloured Inner Beads
RimPro-Tec reduces the risk of damage to caused by contact with the kerb when parking and manoeuvring and designed to fit most wheels 14" to 22"
RimPro-Tec is a 2 part system with a:
track that is easily applied to the outside of the rim using a 3M 2 sided adhesive tape. The tape is simply peeled from the back of the track, exposing the adhesive track which is then affixed to the rim.The track requires a 6mm (1/4") flat surface to adhere to and may not be suitable for all rims in the market
inner bead that is simply a press fit into the track and you chose from a range of 12 colours.
The system can be installed within 30-40 minutes to all 4 wheels but preparation is the key so before application:
Address any alignment or balancing that may be required prior to the application of RimPro Tec
Ensure all contaminants have been removed from wheels- especially silicone and brake dust
NB: Some new vehicles have a waterproof coating applied to their wheel rims in the pre- delivery process. This coating must be removed in the same way as other contaminants: wash with warm soapy water, dry thoroughly and finally wipe clean with the alcohol impregnated wipes included in the pack.
